What is Windsurf?

Describe the feature you want in chat and its AI (Cascade) writes and edits code across multiple files. Formerly known as Codeium, it's used by developers and people learning to code.

How to start in 5 minutes

Download and install the editor from windsurf.com
Open your project folder and type your request in the Cascade chat on the right
Review the code changes the AI proposes and click 'Accept' to apply them
Follow up with things like 'fix this further' as needed
